Manager Cost Accounts

Role & responsibilities:

• Cost Accounting Management:Lead and manage the cost accounting team to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting. Oversee the development and maintenance of cost accounting systems, including standard costing, job costing, and project costing.
• Financial Analysis:Analyze cost data and provide detailed reports on cost variances, trends, and cost drivers. Work with management to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve cost-efficiency.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed cost projections and analysis. Monitor budget performance and address any deviations from the plan.
• Cost Control:Implement and enforce cost control policies and procedures. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of cost control measures and recommend improvements.
• Internal Controls:Ensure the accuracy and integrity of cost accounting records by establishing and maintaining strong internal controls. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Collaboration:Work closely with operations, procurement, and production teams to gather relevant data and understand cost implications. Provide support and advice on cost-related matters to various departments.
• Reporting:Prepare and present cost accounting reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Ensure timely submission of financial reports and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Team Leadership:Mentor and develop cost accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualified CA/ CMA/ ICWA with Cost Accounting and Financial Analysis Exp
